Summary of Position
The ideal candidate for Social Media Manager is an expert responsible for planning, developing and implementing the company's / client’s overall social media strategy in order to support and improve online presence and the overall digital marketing efforts.
Responsibilities
Develop a social media content plan.
Create engaging content for all platforms, including blog pieces, articles, social media posts, newsletters, and videos.
Engage with the online community and respond to comments and requests.
Liaise with other departments to stay updated on new marketing initiatives, product and service developments, and to ensure brand consistency.
Develop, implement and manage clients’ social media strategy.
Define most important social media KPIs.
Create and oversee social media content ideation and development.
Measure the success of every social media campaign.
Track and analyze SEO in order to provide effective solutions for content optimization.
Network with industry professionals and influencers via social media.
Analyze web traffic and relevant community metrics.
Relay community feedback to relevant internal stakeholders.
Devise and implement community communication initiatives.
Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies by attending educational conferences and knowledge share with appropriate teams.
Hire and train other in the team.
Provide constructive feedback.
Requirements
Competencies:
Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok and other social media.
Good understanding of social media KPIs.
Outstanding multitasking skills.
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
Team player.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Great interpersonal and communication skills.
Education:
Bachelor Degree in related fields.
Experience:
3+ years of experience as a Social Media Strategist or similar role.
