Summary of Position

The ideal candidate for Social Media Manager is an expert responsible for planning, developing and implementing the company's / client’s overall social media strategy in order to support and improve online presence and the overall digital marketing efforts. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop a social media content plan.

  • Create engaging content for all platforms, including blog pieces, articles, social media posts, newsletters, and videos.

  • Engage with the online community and respond to comments and requests.

  • Liaise with other departments to stay updated on new marketing initiatives, product and service developments, and to ensure brand consistency.

  • Develop, implement and manage clients’ social media strategy.

  • Define most important social media KPIs.

  • Create and oversee social media content ideation and development.

  • Measure the success of every social media campaign.

  • Track and analyze SEO in order to provide effective solutions for content optimization.

  • Network with industry professionals and influencers via social media.

  • Analyze web traffic and relevant community metrics.

  • Relay community feedback to relevant internal stakeholders.

  • Devise and implement community communication initiatives.

  • Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies by attending educational conferences and knowledge share with appropriate teams.

  • Hire and train other in the team.

  • Provide constructive feedback.

 

Requirements

Competencies:

  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish.

  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok and other social media.

  • Good understanding of social media KPIs.

  • Outstanding multitasking skills.

  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.

  • Team player.

  • Good organizational and time-management skills.

  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree in related fields.

Experience:  

  • 3+ years of experience as a Social Media Strategist or similar role.
