Summary of Position


Remezcla is a rapidly-growing digital media company covering lifestyle, culture and music for Latino millennials in the U.S. What began as a Latino lifestyle blog in 2006 is now a thriving entertainment brand lending its voice and perspective for the undiscovered Latin culture scene.

 

Our Advertising Agency division is looking for a Senior Account Executive to work alongside our team and manage account projects from concept to execution. The SAE is responsible for managing daily client communications, weekly status reports, project deadlines, and overall project management on a daily basis. They will work with internal departments and partner agencies alike to ensure projects are executed flawlessly, on time and on budget. This includes managing client and internal stakeholders’ feedback along the way. This position reports to the Group Account Director or appointed leader and partners closely with Creative, Planning, Production, Brand partnerships and Editorial teams to ensure that clients have comprehensive support for their account and business needs. As Senior Account Executive, you will be a key member of the team and indispensable to our clients and team.

 

Responsibilities


  • Serve as day-to-day point of contact for client and agency partners. 

  • Manage agency creative and production process from brief, asset development, delivery, and tactical planning.

  • Capable of writing simple creative briefs, and POV’s with minimal supervision

  • Manage productions (digital content, video, radio, experiences) by setting realistic internal and external timelines, developing and managing budgets.

  • Gather internal and external feedback on creative work and provide it to teams for revisions, as needed,  while ensuring the brand is reflected and ultimately obtaining client approvals to move forward with production. 

  • Able to adequately represent client interests to team, and agency POV to client. 

  • Able to participate in the development of client’s marketing strategy

  • Lead projects involving complex work streams and cross-functional collaboration

  • Coordinate delivery of work across in-house departments (i.e., production, marketing, communications, design, sales, creative, experiential), including trafficking final assets.

  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings, status reports, presentations and regroups

  • Distribute meeting agendas and recaps detailing key discussion items and next steps.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date budgets of all client-related projects and  tracking project actuals.

  • Organization of pertinent client and agency documents, maintaining the organization of the existing information database.

 

Requirements


  • 3-4+ years of experience as Account Executive or Manager, preferably at an advertising, digital marketing or social media agency/company

  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to work well alone, and with team members

  • Strong Project Management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and escalate potential roadblocks when needed

  • Detailed oriented, proactive, self-starter and extremely organized

  • Proven aptitude to think critically and strategically. Must understand how day-to-day activities fit into the bigger picture and know how to prioritize tasks based on this. 

  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and can operate well in a startup environment. .

  • Knowledge of social platforms best practices and key metrics (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter,etc.).

  • Deep understanding of Latinx culture.

  • Familiar with Remezcla’s brand, content and audience. 

  • In touch with culture, trends, marketing, media and brand landscape.

  • Experience working effectively with, collaborating and communicating with clients, agency partners and internal departments

  • Spanish proficiency a PLUS

  • Previous experience in the following categories: beer, wines & spirits,
